Frequently asked questions
Where is my collection file?â–¶
It lives in your RuneLite folder. On Windows the path is C:\Users\YourName\.runelite\OSRS-TCG\backups\ and then a dated folder. Always grab the newest file in there, since older ones are snapshots from earlier sessions.
It says no collection was found in my fileâ–¶
That usually means the file came from somewhere other than the OSRS-TCG backups folder, or it is an older format. The tracker looks for an RLTCG_v2 block inside the file. Grab the most recent backup and try again.
My collection link shows Collection Not Foundâ–¶
The link is built from your RuneScape name, so it changes if your name changes. Re-upload your file and save again to get a fresh link.
How do I update my saved collection?â–¶
Upload the newest backup file and press save again. It overwrites the existing entry for your name rather than creating a second one, so your link stays the same.
Is it safe to upload my file?â–¶
The file is decoded in your own browser and nothing is sent anywhere unless you press save. We never ask for your RuneScape login, and no fan site should. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
Can I delete my collection?â–¶
Yes. Ask in the Discord and it gets removed. There is no account system, so removals are handled by hand.
Some card images are missingâ–¶
Images are reconstructed from card names and pulled through an image proxy. A handful of unusual names do not resolve cleanly. Report the card in the Discord and it can be fixed.
Does it work on mobile?â–¶
Viewing and sharing works fine. Uploading is easier on a desktop, since that is where your RuneLite folder lives.
Reporting a bug
The more specific the better. What you clicked, what you expected, and what happened instead. If a card looks wrong, include the card name. If a page looks broken, mention the browser you are using.
